Ingredients:
For the dough:
- 200 g Butter
- 200g sugar
- 4 Owner
- 500 g Quark
- 1 packet of vanilla sugar
- 1 packet of baking powder
- 300g flour
- A pinch of salt
For the filling:
- 1 packet of vanilla pudding powder
- 500 ml milk
- 3 tbsp sugar
Preparation:
- Preheat the oven to 180°C and grease a springform pan.
- In a large bowl, beat the softened butter with the sugar until fluffy. Add the eggs one at a time and stir well.
- Add the quark and vanilla sugar to the mixture and mix well again.
- Mix the flour with the baking powder and gradually stir into the quark mixture. Add a pinch of salt and pour the dough evenly into the prepared springform pan.
- For the filling, mix the vanilla pudding powder with a little milk until smooth. Heat the remaining milk in a saucepan and add the sugar. Add the mixed pudding powder to the milk, stirring constantly, and bring to the boil briefly until the pudding thickens.
- Spread the finished vanilla pudding evenly over the curd dough in the springform pan.
- Bake the cake in the preheated oven for about 50-60 minutes, until golden brown and a wooden pick comes out clean when inserted into the center of the cake.
- Remove the cake from the oven and let it cool in the tin before removing it from the tin.
- Dust with powdered sugar if desired and cut into pieces. Enjoy this simple, tasty curd snow cake with vanilla pudding!
