Quark snow cake with vanilla pudding, it’s simply tasty

Ingredients:

For the dough:

  • 200 g Butter
  • 200g sugar
  • 4 Owner
  • 500 g Quark
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 1 packet of baking powder
  • 300g flour
  • A pinch of salt

For the filling:

  • 1 packet of vanilla pudding powder
  • 500 ml milk
  • 3 tbsp sugar

Preparation:

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C and grease a springform pan.
  2. In a large bowl, beat the softened butter with the sugar until fluffy. Add the eggs one at a time and stir well.
  3. Add the quark and vanilla sugar to the mixture and mix well again.
  4. Mix the flour with the baking powder and gradually stir into the quark mixture. Add a pinch of salt and pour the dough evenly into the prepared springform pan.
  5. For the filling, mix the vanilla pudding powder with a little milk until smooth. Heat the remaining milk in a saucepan and add the sugar. Add the mixed pudding powder to the milk, stirring constantly, and bring to the boil briefly until the pudding thickens.
  6. Spread the finished vanilla pudding evenly over the curd dough in the springform pan.
  7. Bake the cake in the preheated oven for about 50-60 minutes, until golden brown and a wooden pick comes out clean when inserted into the center of the cake.
  8. Remove the cake from the oven and let it cool in the tin before removing it from the tin.
  9. Dust with powdered sugar if desired and cut into pieces. Enjoy this simple, tasty curd snow cake with vanilla pudding!
