Let’s prepare the “Mexico” salad – you don’t need to cook anything, the step-by-step recipe is simple and quick, just for those moments when guests are already on the doorstep, and you don’t have anything prepared. The salad turns out tasty, satisfying, and nutritious. The composition is very interesting, it includes smoked sausage, corn, cucumbers, bell peppers, tomatoes, green onions, hard cheese.
The dressing itself is simple – mayonnaise, you can also make it yourself in a couple of seconds. You can serve the salad right away; it goes perfectly with any side dishes – potatoes, spaghetti, etc.
Salad ingredients:
smoked sausage – 200 g;
canned corn – 150 g;
hard cheese – 100 g;
bell pepper – 1 pc.;
tomatoes – 2 pcs.;
green onions – 20 g;
pickled cucumbers – 5 pcs.;
salt, pepper – to taste;
mayonnaise – 2-3 tbsp.
How to make Mexican salad
Prepare all necessary products. Choose the most delicious, high-quality sausage. Cut the smoked sausage into small pieces.
Remove seeds from sweet peppers, wash and dry. Cut into small cubes.
Wash and dry the tomatoes, cut out the area where the stem grows. Cut the tomatoes into cubes. If the tomatoes are too juicy, place them in a sieve and allow excess liquid to drain.
Cut pickled cucumbers into small cubes.
Rinse and dry the green onions, chop finely.
Grate hard cheese on a medium or coarse grater.
Combine all ingredients in one deep bowl. Add canned corn to the salad.
Season the salad with mayonnaise, add salt and pepper, mix and take a sample. Arrange the salad on plates and serve.
