The florist recommends using common items from the kitchen that end up in the trash every day – nothing more, nothing less.
They contain all the substances that the plant needs – phosphorus, potassium, nitrogen, carbohydrates and magnesium – “golden” substances for the healthy life cycle of the flower.
These trace elements gradually penetrate the plant and if you know how to use them correctly, they will ensure that you have a beautiful plant for many years.
This nutrition supports the orchids during and before flowering. .
Magic water for orchids and other houseplants – ordinary rice can do it too

This is nothing more than ordinary water after soaking the rice.
The water that many of us pour into the sewer system is full of vitamins and nutrients that plants need, especially during the flowering and growing season.
Rice water contains many substances that are also found in purchased plant fertilizers.
It contains vitamins of the B group (especially B1 and B2), “NPK” elements (nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium). Starch, fats, carbohydrates, but also complex nutrients that the plant converts into energy, strength and resistance to pests.

You can safely put the water in the refrigerator and use it when needed.
We water the orchid and the other plants once every 15 to 20 days.
But never water with cold water, the water must be at room temperature!
The preparation is simple:
Simply soak 50 g of rice in 500 ml of water, let it sit for 24 hours and then drain.
Orchid nutrition – the best and cheapest with banana peel

It’s easy to make fertilizer for banana peels. We present you 3 tried and tested recipes.
Banana tea
Let the banana peel dry in the sun or on the heater and then grind it into powder.
Add 1 teaspoon to 200ml boiling water.
Allow the liquid to cool and pour it off.
Banana peel powder

Cut off the skin and place it in the oven on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
When the bark has dried, let it cool and add the powder to the pot occasionally.
We can also use it directly on the roots – rub the roots gently.
Banana vinaigrette

Remove the peel from 2 bananas and cover them with 2 liters of water. Let the tea steep for 2 days.
Dilute the resulting liquid with water in a 1:1 ratio.
The fresh skin revitalizes the leaves
Take the skin and rub the inside of the leaves. They gain shine and absorb useful substances.
Homemade concentrated fertilizer (instead of the sticks from the store)

You will need: water for cooking rice, molasses, milk, used green tea bags, ground chicken bones
This may seem like magic, but it’s actually a nutritional bomb.
Dried and ground chicken bones are an excellent source of calcium and magnesium.
Just let them dry in the sun for 2-3 days and then grind them into fine powder.
Approach
1. Vyprázdnite obsah použitých čajových vrecúšok do malej misky. Nepoužívajte však urologické čaje, pretože obsahujú látky, ktoré rastlina nepríjme.
2. Grind some chicken bones into flour .
Make sure the bones are finely ground into small grains so that the final product has the consistency of sand.

However, do not crush the bones into dust, as very small particles can damage the plant.
Bone meal provides the plant with calcium and magnesium, but also reduces soil acidity , so pay attention to the amount of meal .
3. Mix the tea and crushed chicken bones in a bowl, cover with milk and add no more than a teaspoon of molasses .
Stir well until the liquid turns brown.
We add milk because it contains important nutrients like nitrogen, potassium and phosphorus.
4. Drain the rice cooking water and allow it to cool to room temperature.
When the water has cooled, mix it with the brown mixture. Rice water contains niacin, riboflavin, thiamine and other trace elements that orchids need.
Opinion:
This mixture can only be used once (maximum twice) per month during the growing season by pouring it on the ground.
How to feed an orchid

During the growing season when the flower produces new leaves and shoots. Can be used with all other pouring agents, but be careful: just a small amount is enough.
If you see the plant continues to germinate (new leaves and shoots), continue feeding. If growth stops, stop feeding.
Feed during flowering. Important: This does not apply to flowering plants that you have just brought from the store. Let them bloom and start feeding in 3-4 months.
In autumn-winter and during the summer heat, phalaenopsis slows down its growth, so it is not recommended to feed it more than once a month .
Sick, severely weakened and transplanted plants should not be fertilized.
