Ingredients
For the cream:
600 ml milk
1 ½ pack of vanilla pudding powder
n. B. Sugar, approx. 50 – 100 g
220 g butter
For the dough:
250 ml water
120g butter
150 g flour
½ pack of baking powder
4 eggs
Preparation
For the cream: 1. First, mix the vanilla pudding powder with 250 ml of milk, then bring the remaining 350 ml to the boil. Then add the vanilla pudding mixture to the boiling milk and stir until it becomes quite thick. Add the sugar to taste. Then leave to cool.
When the pudding is cool, mix everything briefly with the mixer and then add 200 g of soft butter. Mix until it is a smooth cream.
For the dough:
2. Next, bring the water and butter to the boil. Then stir in the flour and baking powder vigorously over a low heat. Allow to cool. Mix the four eggs one after the other into the cooled mixture and then mix on the highest setting for about 2 to 3 minutes.
3. Now preheat the oven to 200 degrees top/bottom heat. Divide the dough into two parts and spread the first part thinly and evenly on the baking tray.
Bake in the oven for about 20 minutes until golden brown. Do the same with the second half of the dough. Allow to cool well.
Spread the cream on the bottom half and place the top half on top. Sprinkle with powdered sugar.
