Ingredients:
6 bananas
For the dough:
6 eggs
120 g icing sugar
120 g flour
1/2 lemon (organic, peel)
For the cream:
125 g butter
150 g sugar
Vanilla pudding (made from 500 ml milk without sugar)
For the glaze:
16 tbsp milk
160 g sugar
160 g chocolate
200 g butter
Preparation:
For heavenly banana slices, first beat 6 egg yolks with 60 g sugar and a little lemon zest until foamy. Beat 6 egg whites with 60 g sugar until stiff. Now carefully stir the egg whites into the yolk mixture and then fold in the sifted flour.
Line a 30 x 40 cm baking tin with a higher edge with baking paper and spread the sponge mixture on the bottom. Bake at 180 °C for approx. 12-15 minutes with hot air. Allow to cool. For
the cream, make the pudding according to the instructions on the packet and allow to cool. Stir frequently to prevent a skin from forming.
Rub the butter and sugar well and mix with the almost cold pudding.
Peel around six bananas, halve them and cut them into thin slices. Cover the dough with the sliced bananas.
Spread the cooled cream over it. Finally, cover with the glaze. Let the heavenly banana slices sit for a while. Preferably overnight. Done.
