Light Chocolate Mousse Cake

This cake consists of a light and fluffy base covered with a creamy, chocolatey mousse. This is a perfect dessert for chocolate lovers looking for something light and delicious.

Ingredients

  • 120 g of dry biscuits such as small butter
  • 40 g of low-fat butter
  • 1 tablespoon of cocoa
  • 100g dark chocolate
  • 4 eggs

Preparation

  1. Put the biscuits in a blender then blend until you obtain a powder.
  2. Put in a bowl then add the butter and melted cocoa and mix well.
  3. Pour the mixture into a springform pan then pack the dough well and place in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
  4. Start by separating the egg whites and yolks.
  5. In a bowl, beat the egg whites until stiff.
  6. Melt the chocolate in a bain-marie or in the microwave then add the egg yolks and mix well.
  7. Gently incorporate the beaten egg whites and mix well using a Maryse.
  8. Pour the mixture into the bowl then refrigerate for 2 to 3 hours.
