Apple and Cream Cake – Cake Ready in 5 Minutes, Only 180 Kcal!

Apple and Cream Cake is a delicious and easy to prepare dessert that is perfect for any occasion. This moist cake is filled with tender, juicy apples, and is topped with a delicious cream sauce. This is a dessert that will please all apple and cake lovers.

Ingredients

  • 100 ml of milk
  • 2 eggs
  • 220 g of flour
  • 50 ml of oil
  • 1 apple cut into slices
  • 50 g of stevia sweetener (or 100 g of sugar)
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • A pinch of salt
  • For the cream – apple and cream cake:
  • 25 ml of milk
  • 25 g of stevia sweetener (or 50 g of sugar)
  • 15 g cornstarch
  • 10 g of vanilla sugar
  • 1 egg

Preparation 

  1. First, make the cream: in a saucepan, mix the egg with the stevia sweetener (or sugar), the vanilla sugar, the cornstarch and the milk using a whisk.
  2. Bring the mixture to a boil while whisking until the cream thickens.
  3. Cover the surface of the cream with cling film and let it cool to room temperature.
  4. In a bowl, beat the eggs with the stevia sweetener (or sugar), salt and vanilla. Mix well for 3-4 minutes with an electric mixer until frothy.
  5. Incorporate the milk and oil, mix, sift and incorporate the flour with the baking powder and mix
  6. Finally add the apples cut into thin slices
  7. Pour half of the preparation into a rectangular mold (27×27 cm) lined with baking paper
  8. Add a few spoons of cream then cover with the rest of the mixture
  9. Using a piping bag, pipe the pastry cream in a checkerboard pattern
  10. Finally, bake the cake at 170°C for 40-45 minutes
  11. Sprinkle with icing sugar and serve
