Ingredients:
Steaks of meat (they can be beef, veal, pork or the type of your preference)
Salt and pepper to taste
2 tablespoons of olive oil
4 tablespoons of butter
4 cloves of garlic, finely chopped
Sprigs of fresh thyme (optional, for flavoring )
Potatoes, peeled and cut into slices or cubes
Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Preparation:
Season the beef steaks with salt and pepper to taste on both sides.
Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
Cook the steaks in the hot skillet until they are golden brown on both sides and reach the desired doneness. Remove the fillets from the pan and place them on a plate.
In the same pan, add 2 tablespoons of butter.
Add the sliced or cubed potatoes to the pan.
Cook the potatoes until golden and tender. You can cover the pan to speed up the process.
Add the minced garlic cloves and fresh thyme sprigs to the potatoes and mix well.
Place the beef fillets back in the pan with the potatoes and mix to infuse them with the flavors.
Add the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter to the pan and let it melt.
Mix all the ingredients well, making sure to coat the potatoes and meat with the butter and garlic.
Garnish with fresh chopped parsley.
Serve hot and enjoy your beef steak in butter and garlic with potatoes.
Ready! Now you have a delicious meal with a juicy steak and potatoes full of flavor. Enjoy!
