Ingredients:
- 3 cups orange juice (I used 10 squeezed Bahia oranges)
- 1 cup cooking oil
- 2 eggs
- 2 cups of wheat flour
- 2 cups of sugar
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- In a blender, place the orange juice, oil and eggs.
- Beat for 1 minute and set aside.
- In a bowl, add the wheat flour, sugar and baking powder. Mix well.
- Pour the blender mixture over the dry ingredients in the bowl.
- Mix with a wire whisk (fouet) until you obtain a homogeneous dough. Note: This dough is more liquid than normal.
- Pour this mixture into a cake pan previously greased with butter and sprinkled with sugar to give it a wonderful light cone.
- Place in a preheated oven at 180ºC and bake for about 40 minutes or until golden.
Tip: Greasing with butter and sprinkling with sugar will give your cake a special touch.
