GRILLED BACON WRAPPED CHILI RECIPE

Ingredients:  10 large jalapeño peppers, cut in half and seeded, 1 package bacon (about 10 strips), 1 package cream cheese, 1 package cheddar cheese, grated, Toothpicks.

Preparation:  Preparation of the chiles:  Cut the jalapeno peppers in half lengthwise and remove the seeds. This step will help reduce the spiciness level a bit. Cheese Filling:  Fill each chili half with cream cheese. You can use a knife or a pastry bag to make the process easier. Sprinkle grated cheddar cheese over the cream cheese in each chili half. Bacon Wrapped:  Wrap each stuffed chili half with a strip of bacon. Secure the bacon with toothpicks so it stays in place during cooking. Grilling:  Preheat grill to medium heat. Place the bacon-wrapped chiles on the grill and cook, turning occasionally, until the bacon is browned and crispy. This usually takes around 15-20 minutes. Serve:  Remove the bacon-wrapped chiles from the grill and allow them to cool slightly before serving. You can accompany them with ranch sauce or avocado sauce for an additional touch. Enjoy these delicious grilled bacon wrapped peppers as an appetizer or side dish at your next barbecue!
