They had that special touch that they gave to all the recipes, whether sweet or savory, they always had an incredible flavor and only they knew how to prepare.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To remember her, we bring you a recipe that I made almost every day to accompany the mates: a delicious apple cake with pastry cream. This recipe is special and we are going to tell you how she made it correctly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Obviously it will not have the same flavor, but with practice, you will be able to enjoy a delicious apple cake. Now, pay attention to the ingredients you need and how to prepare them:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Ingredients<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>3 eggs<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>250g ricotta<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>270g flour<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>15g\u00a0sugar<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1 Envelope of Baking Powder<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>40ml Oil<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>3&nbsp;Apples<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>150 g of pastry cream<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Impalpable sugar (icing) c\/n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Preparation<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">1- To start, we have to make the pastry cream, for this you can buy it ready-made, but if we want it to be 100% homemade you have to prepare it at home.\u00a0Here we leave you the recipe for our homemade pastry cream\u00a0. When you have the cream prepared, we leave it in the refrigerator with a piece of plastic wrap covering the cream in direct contact.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">2- On the other hand, in a bowl we put the ricotta and sugar. We crush and mix these ingredients and little by little we add the eggs and oil. If you want to save time and work, you can do this step with an electric mixer (Simply start at minimum speed and increase the speed little by little).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">3- When all the ingredients have been integrated, add the flour and baking powder. Now, with the help of a pastry spoon, we mix well from the bottom up (for 5 minutes)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">4- In a mold, grease and flour the entire surface (walls included) well. Ideally, it should be removable and have a size of approximately 22 cm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">5- We pour all the preparation onto the mold and on the surface we add the apples (the ideal would be to cut them into slices or grate them, but it&#8217;s up to your taste) and finally, we put all the pastry cream on top of the apples.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">6- We put the cake in a preheated oven at 180\u00b0C for about 35 minutes. It is important that the temperature remains static to obtain a perfect result.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">7- Once cooked, we take it out of the oven and let it cool for 20 minutes. Then we sprinkle powdered sugar over the entire surface of the cake.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">And ready! You can now try this delicious apple cake with pastry cream, a grandmother&#8217;s recipe that is still valid to this day. Just remember that you can accompany it with anything, whether at snack or breakfast. And you can also add a little dulce de leche to enhance the flavor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This cake lasts approximately 2 days in the refrigerator, it is important that it is cold so that the pastry cream does not turn ugly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I hope you liked this recipe.
