In a bowl, beat the yolks together with the sugar and vanilla extract until you get a creamy mixture.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Then, add the baking powder and cornstarch. Mix well so that they integrate correctly.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Add the yogurt, making sure to obtain a homogeneous mixture.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>In another container, beat the egg whites with that pinch of salt until stiff.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>With enveloping movements, incorporate the egg whites into the previous preparation. The idea is that they do not lose air so that the cake is spongy.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Pour the dough into a mold previously lined with parchment paper.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Heat the oven to 170\u00b0C and, once hot, put the mold in. Cook for about 40 minutes.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Then, lower the temperature to 140\u00b0C and let it cook for 20 more minutes.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Finally, turn off the oven and leave the cake inside for 10 minutes to finish cooking with the residual heat.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Remove it and let it cool completely.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>To finish, decorate with your favorite jam or honey.
